Rick is the driving force behind Me-2-We.  Rick provided the early leadership for the organization by recruiting passionate Board candidates.  Rick's background is rich and diverse.  He operates his own successful business and is ultra-involved in community activities from his church to countless youth sports and activities.  Rick's leadership of Me-2-We will insure a successful future for the organization.  Reach out to Rick with questions.

Fun Fact:  Rick was a player on the two Alaska state championship basketball teams for Houston High in 1990 and 1991.  He claims he's still a baller!

Paul Beer


Treasurer

Paul is the perfect Treasurer for Me-2-We.  Paul works for First National Bank, with over 30 years of banking experience.  When not at Grizzly Family Fitness working on his first slam dunk (preferably over the General Manager, Mark), Paul spends time with his wonderful wife, five kids, and four grandkids.  Paul is a motor-head at heart and owns a 1969 GTO, a 1966 GTO, and a 1970 Firebird.  Paul is a valued member of the Board because of his upbeat personality and contagious energy for his community.  He is full of wit and most importantly, ideas!

Fun Fact:  Paul knows donuts and keeps the Board well fed.  See Paul for donut recipes!

Mckenna Dinkel


Social Media Director

McKenna is the youngster serving Board member but her experience and knowledge belies her age.  She is a registered nurse and serves her community at the local hospital.  McKenna brings a unique perspective to the Board because she's passionate about the needs of youth in the Valley and her own generation.  Her knowledge of the health care systems will make McKenna a vital part of the Board going forward.

Fun Fact:  In 2008 McKenna traveled to Vermont and won the National Oder Eaters Rotten Sneakers Contest.  Ask her about it sometime!

Matthew Boothe


Business Development Director

Matt is a pediatric dentist and is passionate about building programs that will benefit youth.  Matt's business acumen benefits the Board as the organization continues to build relationships with local-area businesses; in return Me-2-We programming and community impact will grow.

Matt moved to Alaska in 2016 with his wife and children and planned on a 2-3 year adventure.  In Alaska they still reside and the Board is grateful!  Matt's hobbies include spending time outdoors with his family, watching and playing sports, and most recently, working towards earning a pilot's license.

Fun Fact:  Matt learned to speak Russian while on a service mission for his church and gets to use the language almost daily with patients.

Mindy Imoe


Secretary

Mindy, wife and mother, raised her two daughters and is ready to give back.  Her daughters, having excelled in athletics, is interested in seeing activities planned for youth.  Mindy hopes that enriching activities will provide kids with options for healthy recreation to help fight childhood obesity and to get kids off the couch.

Fun Fact:  Mindy's husband, Steve, was a college cheerleader at UAA.  When Steve gets too full of himself, she reminds him of his past.  It helps keep him in line.
